Stave-Con is proud to have once again played a part in an award-winning development, with Lioncourt Homes’ Heritage Walk development in Ironbridge recognised in the 2026 NHBC Pride in the Job Awards.
The latest accolade, as regional winner in the medium builder category, adds to an impressive record of awards associated with Heritage Walk on which Stave-Con has provided groundworks and infrastructure since the development started in 2023.
Pride in the Job is one of the housebuilding industry’s most recognised awards programmes. Run by the National House Building Council (NHBC), it recognises site managers who demonstrate exceptional standards of construction quality, attention to detail, leadership, technical expertise and health and safety. In 2026, 449 site managers were selected from around 7,500 sites across the UK.
Quality built from the ground up
Stave-Con has been proud to contribute to the development as part of the wider construction team, delivering the infrastructure and groundworks that provide the essential foundations for the homes.
For us, the recognition is particularly significant because it reflects the importance of getting the fundamentals right from the very beginning of a project.
From foundations, drainage and infrastructure through to external works, the groundworks has a direct bearing on the quality and performance of the completed development. Our experienced teams work closely with housebuilders and their site management teams to deliver work safely, efficiently and to the required specification, underlining the importance of collaboration.
Continuing a strong track record
The 2026 recognition follows the success achieved at Heritage Walk in 2025 where Site Manager Mark Follos bagged another Pride in the Job Quality Award. He subsequently went on to win the West Regional Award, demonstrating the exceptionally high standards being achieved across the development.
A team achievement
Awards such as Pride in the Job are ultimately a reflection of the combined efforts of everyone involved in delivering a development.
