Project Overview
This work was self-delivered by our locally based, in-house resources including adoptable Section 104 foul and surface water drainage with pipes up to 675mm diameter and 131m3 of below ground attenuation.
We constructed a new highway bellmouth under a Section 278 agreement and groundworks for 1 bed maisonettes and 3-4 bed houses.
The infill site was logistically challenging as restricted space reduced the area available for material storage meaning greater use of just-in-time planned deliveries.
The requirement to divert an existing 675mm sewer across a highway while maintaining traffic flows meant use of single lane closure traffic management to maintain traffic flows.
